CNML Mentors
CNML Mentors can minister to nursing moms in different ways. They can help nursing moms one-on-one with common breastfeeding questions and emotional and spiritual support. They can also lead meetings, book studies, and ecological breastfeeding classes. It is completely up to the mentor. When you register to become a mentor, CNML will mail you The Breastfeeding Book by Martha Sears and also copies of Sheila Kippley’s breastfeeding books and Getting Started with Breastfeeding: For Catholic Mothers if you do not already own these. CNML will also mail you several nursing mothers gift bags (one is for you!) to give to the moms you help and a short e-book to help you minister to nursing moms.
If you have nursed a baby for at least a year, are supportive of ecological breastfeeding, and are interested in ministering to nursing moms by becoming a CNML mentor, please email us at catholicbreastfeeding@yahoo.com with any questions you have.
