Seventh CNML Principle

Seventh CNML Principle:

Women have a right to be truthfully informed about the benefits of breastfeeding for themselves as well as for their babies.  Families, parishes, communities, governments and society have a responsibility to protect and strengthen cultural support for breastfeeding practices.

Breastfeeding is one of the best things a mother can do for her baby!  However, she needs accurate information and lots of support. CNML's goal is to direct mothers to the most up to date breastfeeding info and to provide that much needed support.

CNML's blog has a slightly new organizational structure.  If you haven't taken a look in a while, please do! We grouped all the breastfeeding information links and posts under the section, "Breastfeeding Management."  We hope to keep adding more links, pages and posts over time and hopefully breastfeeding podcasts in the near future.  There are also sections for Ecological Breastfeeding, NFP while Breastfeeding, Spirituality and Gentle Parenting.

There are currently organizations out there that provide support to nursing mothers but there seems to be a trend away from natural law.  This discourages many Catholic nursing mothers and many non-Catholic Christian mothers who very much desire to follow God's original design for the family and breastfeeding relationship.  CNML strives to bridge that gap between breastfeeding support and following God's law.  We have the facebook group and page, yahoo group and 7 in person groups around the country that have formed and are holding meetings.  We also send out care packages with a variety of items to those who inquire. Check out the right sidebar - "CNML Ministry" and "Connect to CNML" - for info and links to all the ways CNML supports nursing moms.
