Holy Week Reflection by CNML Mentor, Julie Price
Sisters in Christ,
On the eve of Holy Week, as we prepare for Palm Sunday, I find myself rocking my infant son with a heart full of gratitude for all the Lord has done for me, and for all of us. What wondrous, sacrificial love.
How beautiful that we are called into the vocation of motherhood, a calling also rooted in sacrificial love. In moments when my body is exhausted and weary and my mind feels drained, may I remember: these are holy moments. Every nursing session, every cry answered, every snuggle and gentle rocking—though often unseen - are seen by the Lord. He sees the love poured out in these quiet acts of sacrifice.
As we enter this sacred week, may we never forget the Lord’s grace, mercy, and sacrificial love. And may we recognize that these tender, hidden moments (yes, even the exhausting ones) are small but powerful offerings of love.
“Remember that nothing is small in the eyes of God. Do all that you do with love.” — St. Thérèse of Lisieux
St. Thérèse of Lisieux, pray for us.
Our Lady of Leche, pray for us.
Holy Family, pray for us.
